The Flying Start Professional Network grant secured by Enhance Barossa Mental Health supports South Australia’s introduction of three-year-old preschool across the Barossa and Light District. The $33,636 grant supports collaboration between early childhood, allied health and community services to strengthen preschool programs and reduce developmental vulnerability among young children and families.

The programme brings local professionals together to build partnerships, share knowledge, reflect on practice and solve challenges associated with implementing three-year-old preschool. For the Barossa and Light communities, this network provides an opportunity to strengthen early identification and support for children experiencing developmental vulnerabilities, promoting positive wellbeing, learning and school-readiness outcomes.
