Seeds of Hope Suicide Prevention Network

Seeds of Hope is the community-based suicide prevention initiative in the Barossa. It provides information, resources, education and training to increase mental health awareness and build community confidence in recognising and responding to people experiencing distress. Its focus is on reducing stigma and encouraging open, compassionate conversations about suicide and mental health.

The network works across the Barossa by connecting with local communities, organisations and services, promoting suicide prevention training and creating opportunities for people to connect. Initiatives have included free safeTALK training and the Seeds of Hope reflection sofas in Angaston, Lyndoch and Mount Pleasant, designed to encourage reflection, connection and conversations about mental health.
