Thrive Barossa DAT is a Local Drug Action Team that brings together local people and groups such as schools, health workers, police, and The Barossa Council to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug harms. We use local knowledge to create grassroots projects and build community support. In March 2026 Thrive Barossa ran the Barossa Bikes Connect for Youth project in Williamstown.

Thrive Barossa operates as a youth-focused community initiative aiming to gather youth ideas and shape social activities. It centres on youth co-design. Thrive Barossa conducts Youth Co-design Workshops. Collecting direct feedback and ideas from young people to guide social activities. It is funded by the Australian Drug Foundation. Thrive Barossa aims to improve the future of community programs and social options for youth in the Barossa region.
